At St. Francis Veterinary Clinic, your health, your pet's health, and the health of our staff are of the utmost importance. For the protection of our clients, staff, and families, we will be implementing a Temporary Limited Access Plan effective 03/18/2020. To ensure your health and the health of our staff, we do follow usual universal precautions in our clinic and boarding facilities. Additionally, we continue to implement our strict disinfecting protocols in the common spaces by increasing the frequency in which it is done. For the protection of all our patients and staff due the recent outbreak of coronavirus, we are requesting the following: - If you have an illness or are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, we recommend you assign another family member to schedule the appointment for your pet specially if your pet is ill. Wellness care and elective procedures on your pets may be postponed.
- Please notify our staff before your appointment if you or someone you are in close contact with have recently traveled to one of the countries with large outbreaks of COVID-19 (ex. China, Italy, Iran, South Korea) or if you have been exposed to someone else who was diagnosed with COVID-19 or who was quarantined as a precaution. THIS INFORMATION will allow us to guide you better in the transition and process to schedule your pet.
If you are healthy, there’s no need to cancel your regularly scheduled appointment. But please note our Temporary Limited Access Plan Described below: OPTIONS: 1) Scheduled medical appointments: Client will wait in the parking lot – PARKED IN A PARKING SPOT – PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE DRIVEWAY. We will Email the financial form upon scheduling the appointment. Please print and fully fill out before coming in, provide us the hard copy signed form upon arrival. We will pick up your pet from the vehicle as well as the financial form necessary to collect payment. Once the physical examination is performed and a plan developed, we will discuss the plan over the phone or TEXT to minimize people to people interactions. Once services are completed, your card will be charged, and we will return your pet back to your vehicle. 2) Scheduled DROP-OFF appointments: Client will wait in the parking lot – PARKED IN A PARKING SPOT – PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE DRIVEWAY. We will Email the financial form upon scheduling the appointment. Please print and fully fill out before coming in, provide us the hard copy signed form upon arrival. DAY CARE: We will pick up your pet from the vehicle as well as the financial form necessary to collect payment. A scheduled PICK-UP time will be necessary for Discharging from the Clinic to minimize traffic in the parking lot and Lobby. MEDICAL: We will pick up your pet from the vehicle as well as the financial form necessary to collect payment. Once the physical examination is performed and a plan developed, we will discuss the plan over the phone or TEXT to minimize people to people interactions. Once services are completed, your card will be charged, and a scheduled PICK UP time will be provided. 3) Scheduled Tele-health appointments: We are able to provide this service to our established clients/patients, for those that are concerned about a medical situation that is not life-threatening. The service must be scheduled and it will be serviced via a phone call, or video chat depending on the circumstances. The visit is complemented with written guidelines or discharge instructions for your reference. We ask that the appointment time is done when you are able to be with your pet.
